Bath has an active night life, Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest
Most pubs and restaurants stop serving by 11 30.
Night clubs go on till around 2 am.
Since the new licensing laws, some may places stay open longer.

Bath in the evening is generally well behaved and trouble free.

Bath city centre is monitored by CCTV,  including some long stay car parks

Buses stop running at 12 midnight

Taxis are available by the Abbey, expect to queue after 12 am

Bath is like any other city, as a visitor don’t get complacent, when shopping be on your guard against theft, keep your bags, closed, never leave them unattended.

If walking alone at night avoid unlit areas.
